About Us

The Speed Dating Company was founded by Michal in May 2003 in London as a company organising speed dating evenings for Jewish singles.

In the first two years, two speed dating events were held every month for Jewish singles between the ages of 20-40, but over time we expanded our age groups. Today in London, speed dating evenings are held twice a week for different age groups ranging from 20-65. The venues where our speed dating evenings take place are classic, fashionable and high-quality with a great social atmosphere. Since September 2006, we also host these evenings in Manchester and Leeds.

In January 2009, Speed Date Israel opened a branch in Tel Aviv, Speed Date Jerusalem opened in August 2011, and Speed Date Haifa opened in October 2011. We hold approximately 8 speed dating evenings every month for age groups 22-55.

Since 2003 we are proud of at least 120 known weddings, many couples in serious relationships, and people who found new friends – all of whom met at our speed dating evenings.

In 2006 we added our personal matchmaking service called Jewish Matches. Through this service, we match people based on the needs and characteristics of each client.
